Oak Bay Toastmasters Meeting Information:

Every Tuesday 7:30 to 9 p.m. (we start on time)
St. Patrick Parish Hall, 2nd floor (Gabriel Room)
2060 Haultain Street, Victoria, BC

We meet through the summer, but take a short break over the Christmas period. Please check with our contact to confirm our meeting dates during those periods.

District 21 Information

District 21 (encompassing all the clubs in BC) hosts 2 annual conferences – one in May and the second in November. These conferences are held on a weekend. There will be absolutely unforgettable education sessions where you will laugh, learn and grow. Meet old friends and make new ones. On Saturday night, after a spectacular dinner, enjoy speakers from around the province as they compete in either the Humorous Speech (November) or International Speech (in May) Contest.

Area and Division Contests
Local clubs help you hone your speaking ability by supporting speech contests throughout the year starting at the Club level. These contests not only help you learn, they are also a lot of fun. You can progress through to the Area level, on to the Division level, and then on to the District level. If you work hard you can continue to the Regional level and finally, to the International level. Most clubs know their contest dates by mid September.
