    Getting Started

Oak Bay Toastmasters has a diverse, dynamic membership. Our meetings are conducted in a friendly, comfortable, fun atmosphere that allows all those present to enjoy their evening with us while developing their speaking and leadership skills.

Each evening, our agenda normally has three prepared speeches as well as a session of impromptu speeches which ensures that all members are included in every meeting. Visitors are always welcome and are not expected to speak, but are encouraged to participate in either the Table Topics (Impromptu) session or offer their comments as a guest towards the end of the meeting.

The Toastmasters program is designed to help you develop your skills in making both prepared and impromptu speeches; learning to be an effective listener; giving constructive, supportive speech evaluations as well as organizing and conducting meetings.

If you would like to be a guest at Oak Bay Toastmasters please visit us at:
