Club History

Oak Bay Toastmasters was founded in November 1994 as “GVHS Toastmasters”. It was revived on May 5th, 1998 as “Oak Bay Toastmasters” by six members, one of whom is still with us today.

Club Meetings

Our meetings run for 90 minutes and contain 3 segments: short prepared speeches and impromptu speeches;  longer prepared speeches; and feedback to all participants that focuses on strengths and suggests improvements.

We meet every Tuesday evening on-line from 7:15 to 8:45 p.m. Please arrive 10 minutes early so we can get to know you. We start on time! Please contact our VP Membership for more information or register as a visitor on-line.
